There are two main factors Sash Window Services look at when installing double glazed units into our sash windows, one is that the double glazing configuration does NOT detract from the original sash windows profiling and or appearance. The second is that by using slim line unit we don NOT loose anything in performance. A slime line double glazed unit 4-8-4 configured is introduced which is argon gas filled. This combination allows for a high performing unit to meet all regulations and offer a much warmer solution to your sash windows, often upgrading from original Victorian 3mm glass.

Clima Guard D/DT is a high performing low-e glass. Guardian a world leader in coating technology specifically developed and patented this coating for the UK market. This coating is achieved using durable magnetron technology, giving you the benefit of improved performance, easy to process with no edge deletion and neutral colour, no hint of yellow or brown hue or disturbing haze, much more effective look through qualities.

Clima Guard D superb thermal insulation can be combined with all our glasses to help provide all year comfort to any room in your home.

The Clima Guard used in our sash windows will help achieve the Document L building regulations including the latest version where it is recognized the use of the BFRC Window Energy Rating System as an alternative to a U-Value. The D glass can contribute to a higher rating within this system, these glasses will help you save money and protect the environment.
